postcards, and Vilene S 80 / 240 is perfectly suited for this purpose.
Vilene S 80 / 240 is a firm sew-in interlining which is ideally suited
for creative work like postcards, collages, bags, etc.
This interlining
can also be used in the manufacture of pelmets for interior design. Vilene S 80
/ 240 is washable and dry cleanable.
With Soluweb you can now make temporary attachments. In addition to the current use as a stitch overlay in piled or looped fabrics, Soluweb is a temporary sewing aid, which allows you to attach appliques, laces, ribbons, or such things as buttonholes in a chiffon blouse etc., holding them firmly in place before sewing. Cut the Soluweb somewhat smaller than the applicable motif, button facing or ribbon, lay between the motif and the fabric, cover with an ironing cloth (Stitch-n-Tear also makes an ideal ironing cloth), and iron at iron setting 2 - wool/silk (please follow the recommended ironing temperature for your fabric). Now absolutely nothing will slip out of place while sewing. After sewing simply rinse in cold water, Soluweb is soluble even without detergent. Please remember that Soluweb is always soluble in water, and is therefore only temporary, in contrast to Vliesofix/Bondaweb or Hemfix, which are permanently adhesive.
